Electricity plays hide and seek, better to carry a small torch or lighter with you. Resort itself provides for recreational activities and the place is extremely beautiful and kept neat. Food served was very good traditional Kerala items prepared by Nafi. Be it Mr Kochumon who takes you on boat riding, or Tony, Shinto,Praveen.all were very help full. The stay at Saj hideout was extremely comfortable.staff is very cordial and help full. As soon as I booked online the site Manager Mr Siddique called and enquired about arrival and also provided with necessary information I asked for to reach the place. Please make sure other visitors don’t get the same treatment as money spent is hard earned and these days it’s precious as yellow metal.Though I was born in a place only 35 kilometers away from Vagamon this was my first trip. No such we came across inside the premises. At last, COVID protocol and guidelines implementation is a must, as well.
A minor negligence can cause so much loss in the reputation of the property which is otherwise a fantastic in terms of location and ambience. With such good google reviews n the past and the services that resumed since last four months, these basic issues requires utmost attention. We din check out, but we actually exited after the breakfast unhappily. But as a responsible citizen I would not like anyone to face the embarrassment I faced. Chris( if the name is right ), the Manager, Nandhu at the reception, regarding the issue and he accepted the shortcomings while offering me discounts on the food services. Positives: Vast spread property with good views. Order was placed in advance but the dishes came cold. No basic amenities like tissue paper/napkins. No wifi or sim network either to call them. No intercom to call reception or service. The one star 🌟 I have gifted is for the rooms which are spacious for the occupants and a lavish bathroom. I would like to draw the managements attention immediately to the issues I faced whilst staying for a night with my family in P1 and P2 rooms on 31st Oct’20. The audacity that Mr George had arguing with me and my parents with a SMIRK on his face even though he was wrong suprised me.THERE ARE MUCH BETTER PROPERTIES IN VAGAMON. They did not even acknowledge the fact that they were at fault. The food was horrible we had ordered chicken, which dint even look like chicken not sure what they fed us. They give misleading information just so that you can book the room and later get absolutely disappointed. We got into a heated argument with the manager and George and they absolutely refused to compensate anywhere. Even the Jacuzzi in the premium room was leaking. In the video he sent me of the tent there was a tub which I thought would be in working condition but to my surprise it wasn't. I booked 2 rooms the Tent and the premium jacuzzi room. If I am shelling out 20k for 1 night I would expect it to be absolutely perfect. I had asked him atleast 3 times if everything on the property looks the same and is in working condition because it looked too good to be true and he ASSURED me that all amenities are available and are in perfect condition. I spoke to him the night before leaving for Vagamon and he shared all the photos and videos with me. The staff in particular Mr George has absolutely no manners and 0 sense of hospitality. I saw a few negative reviews but I was planning to book the premium rooms so I figured service would be top notch if I'm paying so much but it wasn't. I looked online and saw this beautiful property and my parents wanted to relax for a day or to in Vagamon. Hotels near Vagamon Orchidarium and Floriculture ProjectĭO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY.
